Sewage leak in Colinton

Last weekend saw a sewage choke cause an overflow into the Water of Leith. SEPA and Scottish Water are working on the problem and should be sorted soon. The sewage was well diluted so should not have caused to many problems for wildlife or visitors to the river. If you do see any problems regarding sewage or pollution into the river please contact SEPA immediately on their emergency number 0800 807060 a free 24 hour hotline, a do let us know as we like to follow up on any such problems.
