Winter Wonderland, great for wildlife spotting

The unbelievable weather is still with us, and I have now developed an unhealthy addiction to the met office website, watching radar images of where snow is falling. The Centre is now back open for business, so why not take a walk and call in for one of Sandie's famous hot chocolates. The snow make spotting wildlife simple, here is a list of just some of the birds seen this week. Also I have posted a fantastic picture of a Woodcock taken by Gavin in the Dells. This is the first sighting of this elusive bird along the river, one to watch out for.

Wildlife Spotted;

Dipper, Heron, Kingfisher, Cormorant, Heron, Woodcock, Redwings, Fieldfares, Goosander, Moorhen, Treecreeper, Little Grebe, Sparrowhawk, Bullfinch.

These pictures are wonderful and cheers your heart when the weather is so cold, to see such lovely wildlife.
