Tree Felling in Warriston causes a stir

The loss of hundreds of mature trees along the Water of Leith has shocked many local people. The Flood Works along Warriston Road have necessiated the removal of the river bank behind the properties of Warriston Cresent. Sadly this is necessary for the defences to be built - we are working with local residents and the flood team to ensure appropriate trees and vegetation is returned to the site.
