Windy weather means a number of trees down, hanging branches and blocked sections of walkway - take care!!

The phone has been ringing this morning with lots of calls about trees and branches down across the Walkway we have passed them on to CEC forestry service but they will have a lot of work today and for the coming weeks after Storm Hector, so will need to prioritise work. If you do see something blocking the walkway or causing danger to property, take a photo, pin point your location and email We have also been given notice of a path closure - again - due to a tree between Wester Coates and Magdala Steps. We will update you when we have more information about how long this will be closed for. As always along the walkway take care and do not take risk cutting under downed trees or hung up branches.
