Spring Clean-ups continue as Coltbridge and Colinton get spruced up on Sunday

Sunday was a gorgeous day for messing around in the river!! We had two Community Tasks on as The Spring Clean-up continues. In the morning 22 folk from Coltbridge joined Charlotte to clear the banks and used kayaks to help retrieve litter in the water. The pile of rubbish was not massive which is good news, hopefully meaning we are keeping onto of the litter problems but this meant we had chance to start pulling Himalayan balsam

In the afternoon an eager bunch of 25 volunteers from Colinton joined Charlotte to tackle the litter in and around the river at the village and they began to tackle the Salmonberry stands. thank you to everyone who took part
