This year we ran a Holiday Club for the first time it was a great success. I have posted some picture of each day below.

Hone those survival skills along the Water of Leith.
All CHILDRENS' EVENT at the Water of Leith Visitor Centre, 24 Lanark Road, Edinburgh.
All events cost £4 per child (Accompanying adult free)

BACK TO THE HOLIDAY CLUB
Monday - River Day - We started the day with a visit to our interactive exhibition, then headed to the river bank for water themed activities including river dipping, boat making and a raft race.
Tuesday - Wild at Art - Creative out in the wild. We created natural art works inspired by great artists, using digital photography to capture wildlife and landscapes and had fun with clay and stone.
Wednesday - Wilderness Survival Skills - We learn how to survive in the wild, build a shelter, make a fire, collect water and forage for food.t
Thursday - River Ramble - We caught the bus to Balerno and walked 5 miles of the Water of Leith, with lots of activities and games on route.
Friday - Conservation Workday - HWe had fun helping to look after the river, join in a river clean-up, and in the afternoon we made some river puppets and repeated our favourite activity paddling and rafting.
