So the Volunteers have been out again cleaning up the river and doing more maintenance work in the Bonnington area – see the hauls below
Sunday 26th January Clean-up 10.30am – 1pm. Slateford – Gorgie. Meet Johnny at the WOL Visitor Centre (24 Lanark Road) for a clean-up of the river around the Visitor Centre
Sunday 16th Feb. Clean-up Leith. 10.30am – 1pm. Meet at Coburg Street Car park. If the work is going on at Great Junction Street Bridge it may not be possible to park here still so recommend public transport.
Thursday 20th February 10.30am – 1pm – Help plant up planters at the Royal Yacht Britannia with Water of Leith themed plants in conjunction with the Edinburgh Shoreline project. Meet at the top end of Ocean Terminal in Leith. The exact location may change depending on clarification from RYB and the location of planters so watch for updates
