This week also saw our first Kingfisher Club outing a nature club for 7 to 11-year-olds. Over the next 5 weeks, the Kingfishers will learn about how animals and plants adapt to the colder and shorter days; they will explore what it would take for them to survive a night in the woods, including fire lighting; they’ll learn how to look for signs of the elusive otter, and they’ll get into the river to do some river dipping.
