Looking forward to getting all our work flowing again

As the Scottish Government releases details of how guidelines will change and restrictions ease, The Trust is working on getting our work streams flowing again. So this is a wee plan of what we hope to bring back in the coming weeks and what services and activities we hope to deliver in the coming months. It looks unlikely that larger groups of adults or events not will take place so our usual walks and talks are still on hold and a 2021 Plant Sale is unlikely, but we will hopefully be able to make a plan for the summer soon. Meanwhile this is a rough idea of what will happen when, of course it always depends on the latest guidance.

From 15th March –  Small socially distanced outdoor volunteer tasks with 4 volunteer and one staff leader resume, Giant Hogweed work begins. Small outdoor only covid secure Birthday parties resume,

From 5th April (STAY AT HOME LIFTED) – The Cafe will open for takeaway only (no inside or loo access) Outdoor Children’s Easter Holiday Events will run 3 days per week, Small outdoor Youth Group and Youth Volunteering tasks resume, Volunteer task teams rise to 6.

From 19th April – our Kingfisher Nature Club will resume on Friday afternoons

From 29th April (or when we enter Level 3) – The Centre will reopen an indoor service with limited opening of the exhibition space and loos, Volunteer task teams rise to 10, School group work can resume – guidelines depending, and hopefully we can bring back weekend volunteer tasks and adult community group work in small teams.
