Scottish Water are investigating a potential issue with part of their pipe infrastructure in the Water of Leith, adjacent to Belford Place, Edinburgh. The section downstream of the Gallery of Modern Art. Due to access difficulties, Scottish Waters delivery partner George Leslie is currently mobilising their temporary compound at Belford Place and will be constructing a temporary bridge over the Water of Leith to gain safe access to the river bed to allow CCTV survey of the pipe, to understand the issue.
The CCTV survey will be undertaken week commencing 6th September once the access is made safe. SEPA and the Trust will be monitoring this work as it continues
