Everything at Coalie Park is now fully open, and the transformation is already being enjoyed by local residents. After months of anticipation, the final section of safety railing has been installed at The Dock stake area, allowing the last of the Heras fencing to be removed and opening up the park in full.
Alongside this milestone, the newly formed Coalie Coalition is meeting regularly to help keep the park welcoming, well cared for and full of life. The group will organise monthly volunteer sessions and seasonal community events, bringing together local residents, community organisations and partners to look after the park, build connections and celebrate creativity.
