Join our Ranger Dan for a guided walk to learn about the stories and history of this amazing stretch of the river. From the orgins of this ancient woodland, Oliver Cromwell’s destruction of Redhall Castle, James Gillespie’s snuff production and the redesign of a victorian tunnel into a tourist destination there will be lots to hear about.
Whilst on the walk there will be time to contribute towards our conservation efforts litter picking as we go and learning about our work to enhance and improve this area.
Meet on the walkway under Colinton Bridge at the carpark for Spylaw Park
