Join us as we celebrate 25 years of the Water of Leith Visitor Centre! This Silver Anniversary event is packed with activities for all ages—immerse yourself in the past, present, and future of this community hub. Enjoy a guided walk around Slateford, get creative with crafts and a memory collage, or share your ideas for the next 25 years. Explore the wonders of the water with river dipping, discover wildflowers, and follow the silver thread walk. Warm up with homemade soup and baking as we mark this special milestone together.
Whether you’re a longtime friend of the Centre or discovering it for the first time, come celebrate, explore, and be part of the next chapter!
The Water of Leith Conservation Trust works to conserve and enhance the river, its heritage and wildlife: The Trust promotes education and recreation through the Visitor Centre, and works with volunteers and community groups to deliver around 240 river clean-ups and habitat improvement tasks annually.
