The former Slateford School building on Lanark Road has been transformed into the fascinating Water of Leith Visitor Centre and home of the Water of Leith Conservation Trust.
The main part of the building houses a fantastic Interactive Exhibition about the river and its wildlife, which is open to the public everyday from 10 am to 4 pm, with a community cafe. In addition we have the yellow room (a large open hall / classroom) which is available for hire, when not being used by visiting school groups. Facilities include: toilets and disabled access.
The Water of Leith Visitor Centre is a unique setting for meetings, small training courses and social engagements. Our friendly and helpful staff will ensure your occasion runs seamlessly. We represent value for money and originality.
