Work on the river has really ramped up again since the easing in April – in total volunteers and staff have conducted 66 conservation tasks in April, May and June. The main tasks being clearing litter, cutting back vegetation crowding the walkway, and removing or treating invasive species. Our patrol team have also been very active conducting 62 patrols from Balerno to Leith. In all, we have recorded 1750 hours of activity… awesome work everyone.
