January Volunteering Round up

Every month is busy for our volunteer team but this January we have been capitalising on low water levels and relatively mild days to get lots of jobs done. We have been working up and down the river – clearing mud, trimming vegetation, wading for rubbish, we have even created a willow fence around a mini meadow in the Dells to stop it being trampled on before the plants and bulbs grow

A total of 17 task, around 600 volunteer hours

We get lots of thanks from people on social media but this comment has been my favorite – Not all heroes wear capes – some are in high viz jackets! Thank you for all you do.
