Each year we produce an Annual Report celebrate the achievements of the previous year, this was presented at Mondays AGM – CLICK ON ME to download. The headlines are:
Total Volunteer Hours: 10,905
Number of Conservation Tasks: 274
Learning sessions delivered to schools and the public: 179
Number of Volunteer Patrols conducted along 13 miles of river: 325
So, on average, EACH WEEK the Trust’s staff and volunteers deliver 5 conservation tasks, 3.5 learning sessions, 7 river patrols; we supports 210 volunteer hours; and opens a community café and visitor centre daily.
The WOLCT Staff and Trustees are also pleased to present a draft strategy which aims to steer our work for the next five years. This is the culmination of many months of work including workshops, meetings and planning sessions. We would love to hear your thoughts
