Coalie Conversations – Past, Present and Future of this unusual place

Caught between Bonnington and Leith, Coalie Park was transformed in the 80's after a long and interesting history.
Helen Brown and Sandie Boyle will be exploring the past, present and future of this neglected part of the river and walkway as we look to transform the space to make it better for people and wildlife.

The Water of Leith Conservation Trust works to conserve and enhance the river, its heritage and wildlife: The Trust promotes education and recreation through the Visitor Centre, and works with volunteers and community groups to deliver around 240 river clean-ups and habitat improvement tasks annually.
