Due to essential maintenance requirements, the footbridge that crosses the Water of Leith at Sunbury Place is scheduled to close between 8am and 3pm on 19/01/2021 and 20/01/2021. These dates may be subject to change dependent on weather/resources. However, we did also spot some good news on the ‘planning portal’ ref 20/05768/FUL groundworks to slope including repairs to the main pedestrian pathway – Dean Path. Looks like permission is being sought for stabilisation of the slope and path re-opening works. It’s been a LONG road but fingers crossed work will begin soon.
