Our volunteers have been cleaning up the river from source to mouth for over 30 years. Still a monthly clean up in Leith is necessary to reduce the river pollution before it reaches the sea. Countless items are flushed down our toilets and thrown / blown into our rivers daily that last for centuries.
During Novembers clean-up in addition to removing plastic waste, a HUGE number of tennis balls. The team recovered garden furniture for a local resident and made an express delivery of IPA from @moonwakebeer to Teuchters Landing ready for lunch.
