Hi! My name is Rachel Bielby and I am studying MSc Interpretation: Management & Practice at the University of the Highlands & Islands. As part of a module project, I am writing a critique of the interpretation available at natural environment sites like the Water of Leith.
In order to properly assess that the interpretation provision is suitable for the audiences which use it; I have created the following visitor survey which will be used to construct a visitor profile. This profile can be compared against existing interpretation and assessed whether it is fit for purpose. Going forwards the Trust may use this information to shape future projects.
The survey focuses on interpretation/information found in the Visitor Centre and along the Walkway and collects the views and opinions of visitors like you who use the area.
Please can I encourage you to voice your thoughts! – Many thanks!
(This survey will be available to comment on from 29th March – 21st April 2023)
