Volunteers tasks this month at Stockbridge, Balgreen and Slateford

Wednesday 4th October.  10.30am – 1pm.  Join Charlotte to continue the Dean Valley Project in Stockbridge.  Help us plant bulbs, clear the path and reduce Laurel re-growth and hopefully (weather permitting) finish restoring the historic railing.    Meet at St Bernard’s Bridge at the end of Saunders Street in Stockbridge. 

Sunday 15th October.  10.30am – 1pm.  Balgreen Community Wildlife Garden.   Join Charlotte to carry out an autumn tidy up of the garden including cut, rake and planting / seeding in the meadow area with plants from Central Scotland Green Network Trust.  The Garden is located at the end of Pansy Walk off Balgreen Road –turn right just before the railway crosses Balgreen Road. 

Wednesday 25th October.  10.30am – 1pm.  Pre event task in Craiglockhart Dell and Slateford Clean-up.  Help Charlotte and the Peregrines from Tiphereth get the Dell ready for another Family event – Summers End, and Clean-up downstream to the allotments.  Meet at the Water of Leith Visitor Centre, 24 Lanark Road, EH14 1TQ.
