Wild about Masks – well sick of picking up discarded disposables and seeking sewers to make reusable masks to sell at the Centre

We have all seen discarded PPE in the streets, parks and greenspaces and our volunteers are sick of picking up this potentially hazardous litter. Masks and gloves also pose a risk to wildlife.

To help promote reusable masks, we are looking for people to make washable cotton masks for us to sell at the centre to raise funds for the Trust and cut down on waste. We have a fair stash of material and can source elastic – we simply need volunteers to sew for us. There are many patterns and tutorials online – but ideally, they need to have 3 layers.
