The Visitor Centre is finally back to full strength as we re-open our interactive exhibition space. The very popular water features include a Giant Mill Wheel, man the sluices, ‘lego’ floodplain, call of the wild wall and bioscope. Open daily 10.00 to 4.00pm -its free but a donation is appreciated. Wear a mask and sanitise.
The Water of Leith Conservation Trust works to conserve and enhance the river, its heritage and wildlife: The Trust promotes education and recreation through the Visitor Centre, and works with volunteers and community groups to deliver around 240 river clean-ups and habitat improvement tasks annually.
